New Zealand NZ in top 10 for stripping natural resources

This is an absolute disgrace.
Source: http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3839529a12,00.html

New Zealand is one of the 10 worst countries in the world in terms of the demands per capita that its residents place on the world's natural resources.

In a result which does little to enhance New Zealand's clean green international image, it was placed ninth on the list issued by the WWF conservation group of the 10 nations whose inhabitants place most demands per capita on the world's natural resources.

Nations with the biggest per capita "ecological footprints" were:

1. United Arab Emirates
2. United States
3. Finland
4. Canada
5. Kuwait
6. Australia
7. Estonia
8. Sweden
9. New Zealand
10. Norway

I cannot believe it, and the linked story is no longer available. Finland, my country, is number 3 and the neighboring countries of ours like Sweden, Norway and Estonia also on the list! But it is so clean here, so much woods, lakes, clean air and all. No pollution to mention of. Is this for real?
Do they suggest what should be done then?
